A Consideration of Sherlock Holmes

Here is the finished cover for the new City of The Saved anthology; Tales of the Great Detectives. It is edited by the City's creator and curator, Philip Purser-Hallard and written by cavalcade of talented contributors; Stephen Marley, Liz Evershed, Andrew Hickey, Kelly Hale, Chantelle Messier and Jess Faraday.

This is the Obverse's third short story collection, set in the City and the although the cover is a departure from the previous two, we were keen to keep a semblance of continuity. So, we limited the colour palette to that of the previous covers. This restriction led to some choices that probably wouldn't have otherwise been made. I am pretty happy with the result.

I have also done a couple of other little bits of illustration work for Phil recently. He has his Devices Trilogy trilogy about to be published by Snow Books, the first of which, The Pendragon Protocol is out in July. He's added a ton of background on the website to whet your appetite, including a page on the Heraldry of respective characters, to which I contributed a couple of logos. Have a look.

Other than that, I have been grafting down the word mines for the Great Undertaking (more on that as soon as I am able to blab) and been thinking about what to do about Entirely Possible.

The upshot is, Entirely Possible is coming back!

The updates will be less frequent than before and probably more sporadic. However, there is an endgame in mind. It will be a complete... thing. There will be three acts - I left it dangling a little way into the second - that tell a complete tale: The inaugural adventure of Possible & Tilbury.

So, three digital comic files. The first can be downloaded here. The webcomic will update soon.

Keep 'em peeled!
